It’s not for carrying addresses,
It’s not a memo pad.
It’s just the Holy Bible,
I carry it and I’m glad.
I carry it with me all the time,
I read it when I can.
It tells me of my Savior,
And of a greater plan.
This plan gives me eternal life,
In the world across the way.
I hope to meet my Savior there,
And I know I can someday.
You too can have eternal life,
If in Him your life invest,
Just ask Him to come into your life,
And that’s all that He’ll request.
